The Super Taco was a larger version of Jack in the Box's standard taco introduced in 1975[1] that has since been discontinued. It consisted of a large, deep-fried corn tortilla filled with lettuce, meaty filling, tomatoes, cheese,[2] and a hot sauce: coupons from the time vary between salsa[3] or "Jack's own taco sauce;"[4] it is unclear if they were the same thing or if the recipe was changed. The similarly large Monster Taco could be seen as a successor to the Super Taco.
