Brad Haley served as corporate vice president of marketing communications for Jack in the Box from 1992 to 1999, who helped oversee the company's turnaround following the 1993 E. coli outbreak.[1] He is the namesake of a character beat up by Jack Box for disparaging the company in a 1997 commercial.

After leaving Jack in the Box, he became chief marketing officer of CKE Restaurants, which operates the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants. He is quoted in a 2008 press release accusing Jack in the Box of "trying to blatantly rip-off the Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger."[2] A 2017 ad campaign based around the company's fictional CEO Carl Hardee, Sr. is suspiciously similar to the Jack Box campaign.

Haley joined IHOP as chief marketing officer in 2017.[3]
